Surely every school wants students who are motivated, excited and enthusiastic about their learning?
Your memory of school
Everyone has a memory of something that they did at school that broke the norm and inspired and excited them. It may have been a teacher that personally invested in us, it may have been a one-off experience, something that challenged us to think differently or the time we achieved a goal that we never thought we could. What was it about your favourite subject that you enjoyed the most? The practical elements, the experiments, the drama, the project work? What did the teacher do that made it a positive learning experience? Whatever it is, you can bet that even now, you remember it clearly.
When we got our heads together and really thought about what our favourite subjects had been at school, we realised that they were made such not only by the subject matter, but by the way that they were taught. This is what drives us as a company.

Where do we start?
We believe that every day at school should be a positive one, where children are inspired and teachers confident in their approach, with no-one apprehensive of trying something different.
This is our starting point – how can we enhance what you are already doing? There’s no point in us coming and doing what you already do, that’s a waste of everyone’s skills. What would you like to be able to do differently when we leave?

You'll find that a lot of our work takes learning outside or to new or under used spaces. As Learning Outside The Classroom Quality Badge holders we promote learning in all variety of spaces. We like to explore the possibilities of spaces and places for learning to take place in new ways.

Co-learning
Whatever the focus of our time at your school, your students are at the heart of our work. We believe passionately that by listening to them and investing in their ideas, we can work with you all to find better ways of learning.
This doesn’t mean that we come and do ‘at’ you, after all, you are the experts in working in your school and with your students, we provide opportunities for you to develop their skills and experiences by working alongside you.

What do we actually do?
What do you need?! We are totally flexible - whatever what works for you.
We offer anything from a one-off workshop to whole day exeriences and projects over longer periods of time. It may be an hour long dance or drama workshop, a theatre making experince that brings performance and making activities together over one or two days (or longer) or it may link directly to your School Development Plan - what areas need some input or a different viewpoint and approach?
